The Tall Ships – John L Coombes

James Craig 7 kms off Manly Young Endeavour

What a great way to kick off 2011. John l Coombes’s images of the Tall Ships is brilliant.

Exciting, romantic and energetic images of the sea and the ships that helped discover the world as we know it.

John has offered something for everyone. Fabulous framed photographs A3 & A 5 sizes of some of the best known Tall Ships. There is an image of the Endeavour laser etched onto black granite ( 1 only), Glass weights with images of different ships withing the glass block. A modern slant on a ship in a bottle. There is also a collection of A4 unframed prints.

We also had the pleasure of having John do a book signing on Australia Day. His book “Tall Ships- The sixteen square riggers of Australia & New Zealand” was an exciting addition to the show. Copies being snapped up by fans of these   historical vessels.

John has also given us   three pieces that depict the Spoonbills in various poses. Exquisitely composed.
